Last October, a presentation article on the Life+ ZCW Project was published in Ronda Magazine.

This magazine can be found in the cabin of the aircraft, in the pocket of each of the seats. Ronda was available to all passengers in domestic, european and international flights of Iberia for the month October. A total of 10,490 flights and 1,227,744 passengers were reached.

The article was published in both languages; Spanish and English and this was its content: Every flight generates 0,82kg to 2,5 kg of waste per passenger. What happens to it all? Iberia, Ecoembes, Gate Gourmet, Ferrovial, Biogas Fuel Cell y ESCI -UPF have joined forces in a pioneering project to improve the recycling of catering waste from airlines. Until late 2019, The Life+ Zero Cabin Waste project will introduce changes to the design of the meals served on board and recover 80 percent of the waste generated in flight cabins.
