On September 26, the “VII AECOC Meeting Point against food waste” will be held at the Pablo VI Foundation Auditorium in Madrid under the motto “Together we feed solutions”.
AECOC is the Association of Manufacturers and Distributors, born in 1977, with more than 30,000 associated companies. In this seventh edition of the meeting that organizes against food waste, more than 300 professionals from companies, administrations and NGOs are expected to attend.
Juan Fernando Martín of Gate Gourmet and Gonzalo Blanca of ESCI – UPF, who develop the ZCW Project, will make two presentations within the “Experiences in hotels, restaurants and catering sector, on the use of products” session. They will explain the LIFE ZCW project focusing on the studies and actions carried out against food waste on board airplanes.
